Internships provide an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to work and develop practical skills. 1. Warner Bros. Reach Honorship Program – Business (Marketing) Track

Through the Reach Honorship program, you’ll receive a package that includes internships along with a scholarship at Warner Bros. Discovery. In the business track, you might work in departments like operations, communications, marketing, or media research. Over four consecutive summers, you’ll do paid internships at Warner Bros. studios in Burbank. 2. Ladder Internships – Marketing Track

Ladder Internships is a virtual program founded by Harvard entrepreneurs that matches you with real startups around the world. In the marketing track, you’ll take on meaningful projects like social media strategy, customer growth, and branding while working directly with founders and team members. You’ll spend about 5-10 hours a week on your startup’s goals and receive guidance from both a company mentor and a dedicated Ladder coach. Throughout the 8-week experience, you build practical skills and professional habits, from communication to project management. At the conclusion of the program, you will present a final deliverable that highlights the work you contributed.

3. The Met High School Internship Program

The Met High School Internship Program is a paid summer opportunity that allows you to explore the operations of a world-class museum while developing professional skills. As an intern, you’ll work with museum staff across diverse fields, including curatorial practice, design, social media, imaging, and education, to discover where your interests intersect with museum careers. Through small cohort sessions, hands-on workshops, networking events, and behind-the-scenes access, you’ll learn how art institutions operate and gain insight into creative career pathways. The program encourages curiosity rather than prior experience, welcoming students new to art. 

4. Interns4-Good – Nonprofit Marketing Roles

Interns 4-Good connects you with fully remote, skills-based internships at nonprofit organizations. On a marketing team, you might work on social media strategy, outreach campaigns, or content creation for nonprofits, or even help run Interns 4-Good’s own initiatives.  You’ll fill out a weekly form to report how many hours you worked. At any time, you can request a verified hour report for your work that can be used for college applications, resumes, or portfolios. The program is designed to be flexible, aligning your schedule and project with both your interests and the needs of the nonprofit organization.

5. National Breast Cancer Foundation – High School Internship Program

NBCF’s High School Internship Program gives you a month-long immersion into nonprofit operations and mission-driven work. As an intern, you will rotate through departments in Programs, Development, and Marketing, where you will learn how each department supports breast cancer awareness and patient assistance. You’ll also attend weekly skill-building sessions that cover resume writing, public speaking, and interviewing. In the final three weeks, you will collaborate on a group project presented to senior leadership, mirroring real nonprofit teamwork. 

6. KP LAUNCH High School Summer Internship

Location: Northern California Kaiser Permanente service areas

The KP LAUNCH program offers a seven-week paid internship that immerses you in the non-clinical side of healthcare. As an intern, you will gain experience in the non-medical aspects of healthcare and will get to work in departments like administration, sales and marketing, human resources, accounting, and more. You will also attend weekly workshops that focus on professional development, communication, and career readiness. You will work closely with mentors and supervisors, network with peers and senior leaders, and take part in community-service events and work-based activities. 

7. Smithsonian Science Education Center – Global Goals/Communications Intern

You might interview experts, synthesize complex science into youth-friendly content, and contribute to digital communications. 8. The BrandLab SPARK Program

In Meta’s Summer Academy, you’ll spend six weeks working alongside Meta employees. You’ll get exposure to Meta’s business operations, learning both introductory coding and how different teams like marketing, strategy, and operations function. You’ll also build soft skills in communication, teamwork, and professional behavior through regular mentorship and project-based work. By the end of the internship, you’ll present your project and develop a clearer understanding of how a global tech company runs.
