The Virginia Department of Forensic Science (DFS) supports the state’s criminal justice system by providing technical expertise. A limited number of unpaid, project-based internships are available at its four regional laboratories when workload permits. These internships are designed to offer meaningful experience and professional growth for interns while assisting DFS with ongoing projects.
